Burglar alarm systems are proven to detour theft and burglaries. Studies show burglars will commit crimes somewhere else when confronted with a burglar alarm system - particularly home security systems that are monitored. With a home security system, your home is two to three times less likely to be burglarized than a home without one.

When you have S&L Services install a security system to monitor for burglary and/or smoke and heat protection, your home insurance rates may be discounted up to 20 percent, depending upon where you live.

S&L Services Inc. offers:
A superior level of protection at a competitive cost , available service plans as well as excellent customer service and monitoring rates starting at $18.95 for residential and $18.95 and up for small business and commercial. Why pay $24-32 per month for the same service?

Looking to Purchase a Security System?

Here are a few things to consider!

1. You get what you pay for! If it’s free, no matter what company, all you’re getting is an added monthly bill with false security that any burglar can defeat in the time it take you to turn the system off. All free systems are equally useless.

2. If you are willing to spend a monthly monitoring fee for a free installed system, you might as well be willing to spend a little extra up front to ensure that your alarm is actually capable of justifying any monthly expense. Otherwise, forget paying for monthly monitoring and spend that money on better locks, stronger glass, or security window tint and other physical security measures.

3. When looking to buy an alarm for your home or business always remember one thing; are you feeling secure? A free system means easy money for alarm companies and fast installs for higher revenues and all you’re getting for protection is a monthly bill with a false feeling of security.

4. S&L Services offers you protection 24/7 365 and makes you secure.  Our systems are hard to defeat by having a keypad mounted by an entry way and the Main Brain of the system hidden away from the burglars. This allows for protection knowing that if a burglar can’t find the main system he can’t defeat it before the delay time expires and the alarm goes off. We also have radio and cellular devices that protect you from your phone line being cut.

5. The most important problem with a free security system is the fact that you need to have a delay time in order to open your door and get to the keypad each time you enter your home. So, when a crook breaks in, they also have the same amount of time. If the crook follows the sound of the beeping keypad they will be standing in front of not only the keypad but the brains of the alarm system as well. So, rather than punching in a valid code, the crook could simply rip the entire unit off of the wall and then begin to clean you out.

Lessons?

1. Your control panel needs to be as far away from your keypad as possible. At a minimum, it should take longer to find your control panel than your entry delay time. If possible, the control panel should be hidden.

2. The siren needs to be located away from your control panel so that crooks cannot simply follow the noise of your siren to locate your control panel location.

3. The alarm, phone jack, transformer, and control panel should not be visible from the outside of your home and don't have the keypad installed near a window allowing for a burglar to use binoculars to watch you enter your codes.

4. If you are willing to spend a monthly monitoring fee, you might as well be willing to spend a little extra up front to ensure that your alarm is actually capable of justifying any monthly expense. Otherwise, forget paying for monitoring and spend that money on better locks, stronger glass, and other physical security measures.

5. S&L Services puts a good alarm system in for ONLY  $299 Installed and you own it the day it’s installed as long as full payment is made. Plus, our monitoring is only $18.95 per month; not $32.00 per month like most of our competitors prices. The only difference between our monthly monitoring and the competition is that we make it affordable to the customer and help you protect what you value most. S&L Services is not in it for the money we are here to protect you, the customer. Call us today because we are here to stay!
